COCONUT GROVE KING MANGO STRUT About: Description: CORAL GABLES/COCO GROVE/BISCAYNE. If laughter is the best medicine then the King Mango Strut is the cure for whatever ails you! Held in late December, this parody of the Orange Bowl Parade winds its way through the streets of Coconut Grove. Anything goes, so be prepared for participating groups like the "Precision Briefcase Drill Team" and the "Marching Freds" (by the way, if your name is Fred, feel free to join in)! Hours:

What began in 1935 as a New Year's Day football game between Buckenell and the University of Miami has become today's FedEx Orange Bowl and is touted as the single largest tourist attraction in South Florida.
